About Walter Stern, Inc.

We are a family owned business, established in 1946, supplying the laboratory industry with a wide selection of glass beads, rubber bulbs, stainless steel instruments, measuring devices, distillation media and much more. We also have the distinction of having had one of our items on a space shuttle flight.

We pride ourselves in taking care of our customers by meeting your needs in a timely manner. Most orders ship the same day we receive them.

General Information

Terms of Payment: Net 30 days to customers with approved credit. Otherwise, orders will be shipped C.O.D.

Shipping: Orders are shipped F.O.B. our warehouse, Port Washington, New York. Unless otherwise specified all orders will be shipped U.P.S.

Returned Goods Policy: Return of goods will be accepted if merchandise is in original packaging and if received within 30 days of original ship date. The goods must be accompanied by a return authorization number from Walter Stern Inc., which will be issued upon request. Returns made to us without prior authorization will be returned C.O.D. to the customer.

Minimum Order: Minimum order is $50.00 for items from stock.

Restocking Charge: 25% restocking fee on all returns.
